BRAD CUTTING

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Cutting offers a background identifying, analyzing, and managing business acquisitions, strategic investments and real estate investments.  He is well versed in managing all aspects of the financial functions of early stage and middle market companies.

He has been involved in over $250 million in acquisitions (buy side and sell side) and $1 billion in highly leveraged, structured debt transactions used to partially finance leveraged buy outs, recapitalizations, add on acquisitions and high growth strategies.  Mr. Cutting is the Founding Partner of Vantage Capital Partners in Boston Massachusetts (“VCP”). VCP is an investment group focused upon real estate development in urban markets and growth equity investments in operating companies with less the $1.0 million in EBITDA.

Prior to VCP, Mr. Cutting was the acting CFO of BI2 Technologies, LLC where he has raised venture funding and oversaw the launch of several new technologies including a patented mobile biometric identification platform used by law enforcement across the United States.  As CFO, he redesigned the Company’s business model with technology licensing and SaaS pricing strategies to produce a 600% increase in recurring revenue within 18 months.

Prior to BI2 Mr. Cutting was a Director at Hastings Equity Partners, a middle market private equity firm.  He was involved in three platform acquisitions and numerous add on acquisitions.  After successfully deploying approximately $20 million in equity, he participated on the boards of portfolio companies and assisted management in absorbing recently acquired companies.  Before Hastings, Mr. Cutting served as Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at Carlin, Charron & Rosen, LLP, a diversified financial services acquired by Grant Thornton LLP. At CCR, he managed the sale process of several privately held, middle market businesses and assisted management teams’ efforts to raise growth equity and various forms of secured or unsecured debt. 

Before CCR, he was Vice President of Finance and Strategy at LMR Holdings, Inc. in New York City. There, Mr. Cutting designed and implemented strategic operating plans to improve sales, operating margins and cash flows. Mr. Cutting also was CFO and VP of Business Development at Digital Club Network, Inc., where he raised over $13 million in venture capital, helped to grow the business from 5 to 60 employees, and negotiated numerous strategic partnerships. Other professional experiences include working as a Senior Associate at BPI Capital Partners, Inc. and Assistant Vice President at JP Morgan Chase’s structured finance group.  Brad holds a B.S. degree in Economics from Trinity College and an M.B.A. from Babson College.
