Goodloe (GEB) Byron is the President of Potomac Asset Management, a member of the Investment Committee of PAMCO, and the Founder and President of Potomac Investment Services Inc. Potomac Investment Services is an investment advisory firm formed in 1995 and is an affiliate of Potomac Asset Management. Prior to forming the firm, Mr. Byron was a Vice President at Alex Brown and Sons from 1989 to 1995 where he worked in the investment management area with institutional clients. Prior to joining Alex Brown and Sons, he was a Vice President at Shearson, Lehman Brothers where he worked with pension funds and institutional investors. Mr. Byron has more than 24 years of investment industry experience. He is Chairman of the Board of the Maryland Venture Capital Trust after serving as a founding member of the Board of Trustees of the Maryland Higher Education Investment Fund. From 1990 to 1997, he was the Chairman of the Maryland Deposit Insurance Fund, which was set up to oversee the liquidation of failed state insured savings and loans. Mr. Byron hold series 63, 39, and 87 licenses.
