CEO, Americas Management Group

Mr. Paul B. Savoldelli has more than twenty-five years of international transactional experience, with a primary focus on Latin America, and is currently the CEO of Americas Management Group (AMG).  AMG works with international private equity groups to create and manage transactions in the region.

Mr. Savoldelli has initiated, managed or led the development or funding of more than $2 billion of transactions, including several of the largest cable, media and logistics companies in Latin America.  These transactions have included (i) Davivo International, the largest cable television and high speed internet holding company in Latin America (where he was CEO for 7 years), (ii) International Outdoor Advertising (the largest outdoor advertising company in Latin America), and (iii) other logistics, media and healthcare ventures. Davivo controlled or co-controlled more than 2.5 million cable and high speed data subscribers in Argentina, Brazil and Venezuela.

Mr. Savoldelli is currently working on (i) the consolidation of the stem cell banking business in Latin America (creating the largest company in the region) and (ii) a large “impact investment” involving the development of luxury ecotourism projects in Africa and Latin America.  These projects not only have substantial conservation benefits; but also promote education and social development in the region.

Prior to Davivo, Mr. Savoldelli was a Managing Director and Partner of Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst Incorporated where he headed the Buenos Aires, Argentina office.  In addition, Mr. Savoldelli has founded several highly successful start-ups and participated in an international legal practice in the United States, Europe and the Middle East. Mr. Savoldelli has also served on the Board of Directors of numerous companies including Telefónica de Argentina, Citicorp Equity Investments, S.A., Cablevision Argentina, Intercable Venezuela and Fox Pan American Sports, the leading sports network in Latin America.

Mr. Savoldelli has lived and worked overseas sixteen years (including in Mexico City, Mexico; Buenos Aires, Argentina; London, England and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) and is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Portuguese.  He received his BA (with high honors) from UCLA, where he concentrated in International Relations and Spanish, and his JD (with high honors) from the University of Michigan.
